A great opportunity for a friendly Food & Beverage Supervisor at Monty's Inn; bar and restaurant. Overlooking the Beaulieu river in the New Forest and part of the 4 red-star Montagu Arms Hotel, this is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant looking for their next step, or a Food & Beverage / Restaurant Supervisor who is seeking a change of scenery. This is fixed term contract to cover maternity leave from 1st June 2024 (up to 1 year).

As Supervisor, you will support the Monty's Manager to ensure that every guest receives great service and a relaxed atmosphere and when they drink or dine with us and that Beaulieu residents continue to be proud of their pub.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing bar and food service
• Handling guest queries and bookings
• Liaising with the kitchen and chefs
• Ensuring health, safety and food hygiene standards are maintained
• Maintaining quality standards
• Supporting and training team members
• Ordering stock
• Rota planning
• Managing customer relations & bookings

This role is full-time for 40 hours per week on a 5 days in 7 basis.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience as a team leader or with some leadership responsibilities in a pub, restaurant or bistro
• Bar and wine knowledge
• Friendly, approachable personality
• A team-player who is happy to help
• Personal licence holder (desirable)
• Your own transport to travel to Beaulieu
