Our group corporate social responsibility strategy includes ensuring that our employees and local community are supported and cared for, which is why we’re proudly supporting Hospitality Action and their impactful work. Who are Hospitality Action?

Hospitality Action was established in 1837 and has since offered vital assistance to all who work, or have worked within hospitality in the UK. Whether you work in hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars or cafés, schools, hospitals or event venues, Hospitality Action is there to give you the help, advice and support you need whenever times get tough.

Why do we support Hospitality Action?

Over the last three years, the hospitality sector has faced unprecedented challenges - it was amongst the hardest hit by the pandemic. Hospitality Action has undoubtedly lent incredible support to fellow workers in the hospitality industry through these difficult times, helping team members with anything from physical illness or mental health issues, to financial difficulty or addiction. The charity has helped over 200,000 workers get back on their feet. We would like to play a part in helping those 200,000 people through our support of Hospitality Action.

How are we supporting Hospitality Action?

We have named Hospitality Action as our chosen partner charity, which means we are doing as much as we can to raise money for them, including:

• Invisible chips at Monty's - buying a portion of our "invisible chips" donates £1 to Hospitality Action 
• £1 is donation from every Fish and Chip's sold at Monty's
• A £1 donation is added to every bedroom bill and donated straight to Hospitality Action 
• Our Managing director James Hiley-Jones will be attending the Back to The Floor event again this year, in recognition of all the hard work hospitality teams carry out daily. Over 80 hotel industry icons will act as waiters and sommeliers in recognition of their tremendous teams. Tickets are sold, an auction takes place, and industry icons collect tips, with all proceeds going to Hospitality Action.
