Yes you can. Current government restrictions allow up to 15 guests for a wedding ceremony and 15 guests for a wedding breakfast which makes for a perfect intimate wedding surrounded by your nearest and dearest. Our Oakwood room can accommodate for up to 15 persons with the current limitations in place.

It’s important to weigh up whether you need wedding insurance dependent on the financial commitment, the type of day you have planned and how easy it would be to rearrange. Due to Covid-19, most insurers have stopped selling new policies. If you already have wedding insurance your policy will continue to be valid. Yes, Clara Earp is our dedicated Wedding Coordinator. With a degree in hospitality management and a background in catering, Clara joined the team at The Montagu Arms in 2012. Since then, she has arranged an array of weddings and events from creative workshops and corporate dinner parties to private exclusive use weddings.

Of course. If you want to tie the knot in an intimate setting, then The Montagu Arms Hotel is the perfect small wedding venue for you. We have a number of small and intimate packages to suit you.

No, unfortunately the ceremony has to take place indoors. You can dine al-fresco for your wedding breakfast in our Gertrude Jekyll-inspired gardens, listen to the pond fountain designed by Giuseppe Lund, play a game of croquet on the upper terrace, sip Champagne under the magnolia tree or join the chef in our kitchen garden.

Our Four Poster Suite is the ideal Bridal Suite; with high ceilings, elegantly upholstered furniture and a large four poster bed, you have the space to get ready in comfort.

1. £600 with wedding reception/civil ceremony agreement form to secure reservation. 2. 25% of anticipated remaining balance six months prior to the wedding reception 3. 75% of anticipated remaining balance three months prior to wedding reception. 4. Remaining balance to be paid one month prior to wedding reception. 5. Any extra charges should be settled on departure.
