Enjoy delicious home made food and fine local ale.

Sample delicious heritage cooking and classic English favourites, including homemade scotch eggs, game pies and British cheese ploughman’s.

Here at Monty’s inn we are very proud of the food and drink we serve. This is why we choose carefully where our ingredients are sourced. We grow our own fruit and vegetables in our kitchen garden. We use many local suppliers.  Our pork is from Pondhead farm in Lyndhurst, real ales from Ringwood brewery, local gin from Lymington, beef from Alderstone Farm near Romsey and apples from an orchard in Pennington.

As the perfect spot for sunday lunch in the New Forest; take advantage of the Inn’s ideal location so close to the nearby New Forest attractions including: Beaulieu Motor Museum, river walks and Bucklers Hard Maritime Museum. An extensive children's menu is available

We have temporarily adjusted our opening times:

Open Wednesday - Sunday

Lunch & Drinks - 12pm-2pm (Wed-Fri), 12pm to 2.30pm (Sat & Sun)

Dinner & Drinks - 6.30pm to 9.30pm 

Takeaway menu - 6.30pm to 9.00pm

 

Dogs are allowed in the bar side of the pub, not the restaurant.

Two car parks are located to the rear of the hotel with garage spaces also available. Disabled spaces are located at the front of the hotel. If the car park is full, please ask for assistance at reception.
