New Year's Eve Party Cocktail Recipes

Cocktail barman Paul Gomes has been mixing and shaking up delectable cocktails in our Library Bar for over 20 years. 

Whether you're hosting a party this New Year's Eve, or are having a low-key celebration for two, Paul's New Year's Eve cocktail recipes are perfect for the occasion, to see out 2023 and ring in 2024 in style! 

 

 

The Classic - Champagne Cocktail

Best served in:

• Champagne flute

Ingredients:

• 10ml VSOP Cognac
• Dash of Angostora Bitters
• 1 Brown sugar cube
• 90ml Champagne
• Orange peel to garnish

Method:

1. Add a dash of Angostora Bitters onto the sugar cube and drop into your Champagne flute.

2. Add VSOP Cognac, then gently pour in your chilled Champagne.

3. Add orange peel to garnish.

 

 

The Party Starter - Pink Lemon Fizz

Best served in:

• Champagne flute

Ingredients:

• 25ml Limoncello
• Sugar syrup
• Dash of cassis
• Sparkling wine
• Lemon peel to garnish

Method:

1. Add Limoncello, sugar syrup and cassis to cocktail shaker with ice and shake.

2. Pour shaken ingredients into Champagne flute.

3. Top up with sparkling wine.

4. Finish with lemon peel to garnish.

 

 

The Night In For Two - Magnolia Romance

Best served in:

• Tall Tumbler

Ingredients:

• 25ml Absolut vodka
• 25ml Peach Schnapps
• 25ml Cranberry Juice
• 25ml Orange Juice
• Orange slice to garnish

Method:

1. Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice and shake.

2. Fill tumbler with ice and strain cocktail mix into the glass.

3. Add orange slice to garnish.
