Our beautiful English country garden is the perfect backdrop to a traditional afternoon tea, with nothing to disturb the peace but the lazy hum of bumblebees and the chink of china cups.

We have partnered with one of the leading wineries in the UK to bring you a very English afternoon tea celebrating our British growers and producers and seasonal flavours.  

Golden in colour with gentle green hues and delicate bubbles, Hattingley Valley's 'Blanc de Blancs' English sparkling wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from a single harvest. This light, fruity sparkling wine is the perfect accompaniment to afternoon tea at The Montagu Arms, taking you on a tasting journey traveling from the vineyards of rural Hampshire and on to a selection of sweet and savoury treats.

Sandwiches are simply delightful, with traditional fillings including thinly sliced cucumber with cream cheese and organic whisky smoked salmon with lemon and dill. The heavenly home-made fruit scones with Devon clotted cream and home-made strawberry preserve are the epitome of afternoon tea, finished with a fine selection of cakes and sweet treats from our pâtisserie.
