The Montagu Arms takes the charm of the Forest and creates a retreat like no other for those looking to truly indulge in the authentic New Forest experience. The hotel boasts the Terrace Restaurant – where local produce and sustainable sourced ingredients are at the heart of everything we create.

 

Our head chef, Matt Tomkinson is passionate about serving food which makes sense, “food which is reflective of the time of year and our location and that is ethically and sustainably sourced.

At The Montagu Arms Hotel, we are continually investing in our country house hotel to ensure we provide the utmost comfort and luxury to our guests. From 22nd February to 7th April 2016, we're taking the time to completely renovate and revolutionise the kitchens at The Terrace Restaurant. Head Chef Matt Tomkinson and his brigade are entering a new era and to celebrate this, Matt has created an exciting menu showcasing his favourite suppliers and featuring those signature dishes which have put The Terrace Restaurant on the culinary map.
