Exbury Gardens Talk & Tour | New Forest Events

1st Apr 2016

Discover this world famous site with The Montagu Arms Hotel at one of our New Forest Events.

Just to the east of the beautiful village of Beaulieu is the famous Exbury Gardens.

Home to the Hydrangea Walk, Rock Garden, Iris Garden and Sundial Garden, it truly is a stunning place to visit in Hampshire.

Created by Lionel de Rothschild in the 1920's, the Gardens are a stunning vision of his inspiration, offering 200-acres of natural beauty & horticultural variety.

Arrive at 12pm for a two course lunch at the Montagu's Terrace Restaurant. Then, experience a guided talk and tour of Exbury Gardens alongside their Head Gardener, John Andrew.

Bathed in the glorious spring sunshine, the gardens will be at the peak of their beauty as the magnolias and camellias burst into flower and the Daffodil Meadow is vibrant gold.

By May, the rhododendrons and azaleas will be at their peak and full of vibrant colour and swathes of primroses and bluebells will carpet the woodland.

The popular narrow gauge steam railway takes visitors on a magical journey around the northeast corner of the Gardens and through the Summer Lane Garden planted with bulbs, herbaceous perennials and grasses.

We would love to welcome you to The Montagu Arms for a day of fine food and horticultural delights on Wednesday 4th May.

Tickets are £29.50 per person. To make a booking, please call Clara Earp on 01590 612324 or
