Real Wedding - Harriet and Dan

Harriet and Dan tied the knot in front of their parents in February, making the most of the romantic late afternoon light with our Twilight Wedding package. Personal touches were key to Harriet and Dan's special day; flower clippings from Harriet's Step-Mum’s Garden were taken the morning of the wedding and used to adorn the fireplace and the beautiful wedding cake was baked and decorated by a family friend and her daughter. The intimate wedding ceremony was held in the Oakwood Room, to the beautiful backdrop of the floral mantlepiece display and candle light. Guests then enjoyed a Champagne reception in the Conservatory and photographs in the garden before returning to the Oakwood Room for a Twilight Wedding Breakfast. Florist Jo Hicks decorated the room with centre pieces of blush roses and ivory taper candles. During the Wedding Breakfast Magician Jeremy Haywood entertained the wedding party with close up magic and sleight of hand.

Harriet and Dan said: 

 ‘We always knew we wanted an intimate wedding and after viewing The Montagu Arms we didn’t look anywhere else! We were officially married in 2021; but four rearranged dates, a pandemic and a baby later, we finally got to celebrate this year and it was worth the wait. Clara was wonderful and helped us with all the necessary changes along the way. The day was everything we hoped it would be and more.’
