Christmas Cocktails to Master Now

As spring and autumn slowly turn to winter, our tastes also evolve with the seasons. For drinks, that means hot toddies and winter warmers which are a far cry from those refreshing and light cocktails you’ve come accustomed to.  

If you find yourself in need of inspiration for seasonal cocktails to impress your guests throughout the winter party season, you've come to the right place! Our winter cocktail list has been carefully curated by our Cocktail Barman, Paul Gomes, to include seasonal, warming and fun festive flavours - join us at our New Forest hotel in the stunning village of Beaulieu, Hampshire, for a relaxing cocktail in our bar 'The Library' or try the recipes yourself. 

Whether you enjoy them at home or away on a winter break in the New Forest, here's a taste of the cocktails on our winter list:

Gingerbread Lady

Ingredients:

• 25ml Amaretto
• 25ml Conker Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur
• 25ml Pain d'Epices (Gingerbread Liqueur)
• Gingerbread man sweet to garnish 

Method:

Pour all ingredients with ice into the glass and stir well 

Taste of Winter 

Ingredients:

• 25ml Calvados
• 25ml Disaronno
• 25ml Pain d'Epices (Gingerbread Liqueur)
• 25ml Maple Syrup
• 30ml Cream 
• Cinnamon - to garnish 

Method:

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a coupette. Finish by dusting cinnamon on top. 

Hazelnut Martini 

Ingredients:

• 50ml Espresso
• 25ml Frangelico Liqueur
• 35ml Vodka
• A Dash of Cream 
• A Dash of Vanilla Syrup 
• Chocolate Shavings - to garnish 

Method:

Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled coupette or martini glass.
