What's On At The National Motor Museum Beaulieu

Just a short walk from The Montagu Arms Hotel, the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu is an award winning family visitor attraction at the heart of the New Forest National Park. From the earliest motor carriages to classic family saloons, this world-famous museum has one of the finest collections of cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia in the world as well as an exciting annual calendar of motoring events.

 

Adventure Cinema - 26th - 29th May 

Go to the movies and see your favourite film in a picture-perfect backdrop, as Beaulieu hosts the UK’s largest touring outdoor cinema from Friday 26th – Monday 29th May.

From Top Gun: Maverick and Mamma Mia!, to a singalong of The Greatest Showman, Adventure Cinema will make it an experience to remember.

Disney’s Encanto is a children’s favourite, or bring the whole family to watch Elvis which spans the generations. We couldn’t miss adding a motoring film or two with Cars and Back to the Future also premiering over the weekend.

Pick your favourite movie from a selection of seven films, then sit back, relax and enjoy your screening.

 

 

Simply Porshe - 4th June

All Porsche owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu on Sunday 4 June and park up within the museum parkland for what promises to be a superb day out for both Porsche owners and enthusiasts.

Held in association with The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts’ Club (TIPEC), all ages and models of Porsche are welcome at this huge Porsche-themed day out, which provides a great opportunity to admire some stunning vehicles on display.

 

 

The Custom & American Show - 18th June 2023

The Custom & American Show returns in 2023 on 18th June. The South’s biggest Custom & American Show returns on Father’s Day and features hundreds of cool, colourful, custom cars, live music and hip entertainment throughout the day!

Hot Rods, Customs, American Muscle, Chops & Bobbers will be among the hundreds of vehicles on display.

 

 

Simply Jaguar - 25th June 2023

All Jaguar owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu on 25th June and park up in the National Motor Museum grounds for a superb day that Jaguar owners and enthusiasts alike will love.

All ages and models of Jaguar and Daimler are welcome, which provides a great opportunity to admire some stunning vehicles on display.

 

 

National Austin Seven Rally - 2nd July 2023

The National Motor Museum are delighted to announce the return of the National Austin Seven Rally on Sunday 2 July, with Austin Sevens from across the United Kingdom and Europe gathering in the Beaulieu parkland.

Join the Pre-War Austin Seven Club as it celebrates 100 years of one of the world’s best-loved people’s cars with an event full of activities, including an Austin autojumble, driving skills tests and a concours competition, with plenty of trophies to be won.

All Austin 7s are welcome (no need to be a club member). Other Austins and pre-1975 cars are also welcome – but all must be registered in advance with the organiser.

The first Austin Seven rally at Beaulieu took place in 1963, making this one of the longest-running Austin Seven events in the world.

 

 

Simply Land Rover - 9th July 2023

The National Motor Museum are pleased to announce the return of Simply Land Rover in 2023 on Sunday 9th July. All Land Rover owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu and park up within the museum complex for what promises to be a superb day out for both Land Rover owners and enthusiasts.

All ages and models of Land Rover are welcome, which provides a great opportunity to admire some stunning vehicles on display.

All participants have the opportunity to be chosen as the winner of the People’s Choice Award, selected by public vote. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runners-up.

 

 

The Sweedish Takeover - 15th July 2023

Volvo Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire would like to invite all Swedish car owners and enthusiasts to join them for their Annual Swedish Takeover at Beaulieu on Saturday 15th July.

The Swedish Takeover is open to all Swedish cars, old and new. Whether it’s a 1974 ÖV 4 or a 2021 Uniti One, all are welcome.

 

 

Simply Japanese - 23rd July 2023

Simply Japanese will be returning to Beaulieu on Sunday 23rd July 2023, for an excellent day out that owners and enthusiasts will enjoy.

Set in the parkland of the National Motor Museum, the rally is open to all ages and models of Japanese vehicles and is always a highlight of the events calendar.

All participants have the opportunity to be chosen as the winner of the People’s Choice Award, selected by public vote. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runners-up.

 

 

Beaulieu Supercar Weekend - 5th & 6th August 2023

Beaulieu Supercar Weekend makes a return in 2023 on 5 – 6 August; the must-see family spectacular that brings some of the world’s most exclusive and desirable motors to Beaulieu.

One of the biggest Supercar events on the South Coast. It is a must for all supercar enthusiasts, providing an opportunity to get almost close enough to touch these impressive motors!

 

 

Simply VW - 13th August 2023

Owners of VWs are invited to drive into Beaulieu on Sunday 13 August and park up in the National Motor Museum parkland, for a superb day that enthusiasts and owners will love.

Simply Mercedes - 20th August 2023

All Mercedes-Benz owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu on Sunday 20th August and park up within the museum parkland for what promises to be a superb day out for Mercedes owners and enthusiasts.

From custom G Classes restored SSKs and even the odd SL190, Beaulieu’s Simply Mercedes show is set to provide a great opportunity to admire a stunning range of vehicles.

All participants have the opportunity to be chosen as the winner of the People’s Choice Award, selected by public vote. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runners-up.

 

 

Graham Walker Memorial Run - 20th August 2023

The annual Graham Walker Memorial Run returns for its 60th vintage and veteran motorcycle gathering at Beaulieu on the 20th August.

In tribute to the late Graham Walker, veteran, vintage and post-vintage machines of all makes built before 31 December 1940, will be displayed in the grounds of the National Motor Museum before roaring into life and setting off on a run around the New Forest.

Graham Walker was one of the founders of the Sunbeam Motorcycle Club in 1924 and was also club president for many years. After he retired from racing, he became the editor of Motorcycling and went on to become the first curator of the Montagu Motor Museum, forerunner to The National Motor Museum.

 

 

International Auto Jumble - 2nd & 3rd September 2023

The iconic International Autojumble is back for 2023. The biggest outdoor sale of motoring items this side of the Atlantic.

This long-awaited weekend of automotive enjoyment will bring together all manner of motoring spares, automobilia and historic vehicles for sale, with hundreds of stands to browse in the busy event fields. As the old saying goes, “If you can’t find it at Beaulieu it doesn’t exist!”
