Just to the east of our beautiful village of Beaulieu is the famous Exbury Gardens.
Home to the Hydrangea Walk, Rock Garden, Iris Garden and Sundial Garden, it truly is a stunning place to visit in Hampshire.
Purchased in 1919 the intention of the buyer, Lionel Nathan de Rothschild, was to create a very large but well maintained collection of gardens. He did not fail and to this day, Exbury gardens are considered the finest in the country.
Perfect for the keen gardener, or just those who admire beautiful scenery and atmosphere, at the Montagu Arms we are offering a truly unique and bespoke experience on 22nd May.
Upon arrival, guests will enjoy 2 course lunch in our stunning restaurant. With scenic views of our beautiful garden, it will be just a taste of what is in store for the afternoon ahead.

Accompanied by Head Gardener John Andrew, guests will be given a tour of the grounds, with John’s expert knowledge every step of the way.
Famed for their Rothschild Collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, rare trees and shrubs, this 200 acre site is truly breath taking. With certain walks skirting the edges of the tranquil Beaulieu river, you will only leave wanting to return again to explore more.
