To celebrate all that autumn in the forest has to offer, we’ve created a Best of British break, complete with complimentary tickets to either the world-famous Exbury Gardens or Beaulieu Motor Museum.
The magnificent 200-acre Exbury Gardens were the brainchild of Lionel Nathan de Rothschild, and are a mass of spectacular colour throughout the autumn months. Beaulieu’s serene grounds and gardens are also worth exploring, and the museum itself has more than 250 vehicles on display, from Formula One cars to land speed record breakers.
Back at the hotel, guests can snuggle down in front of a roaring log fire in our cosy Magnolia Lounge and tuck into a scrumptious afternoon tea with delicate finger sandwiches, fresh, warm scones and pretty pastries.
We’ve also introduced a fresh take on the traditional tea, perfect for those who prefer something savoury.
Thinly-sliced sandwiches are filled with a choice of cucumber and cream cheese, free-range egg with black pepper and chives, honey roast gammon with Dijon mayonnaise, and organic, whisky-smoked salmon with lemon and dill.
Then there are warm Dorset cheddar and bacon scones, perfect slathered in creamy Dorset soft cheese and fruity homemade chutney.
Sweet pastries are replaced with a hearty Pondhead Farm pork Scotch egg, a warm sage and home-grown apple sausage roll, and a homemade pork pie with a tangy pickle.
Both sweet and savoury options are accompanied by a selection of the finest loose-leaf teas and Fairtrade coffee.
Your Best of British Autumn Break costs from £189 per room – saving £80 - and includes:
