Look at Our New Hay Loft Suites!

Our fantastic location in the heart of the great British countryside has inspired us to convert our barn into two new Hay Loft suites with a luxurious modern twist. The new suites are designed to meet the growing need for couples wanting to escape their hectic daily lifestyles for a peaceful, grown-up break in the lap of luxury.

We wanted to give the barn a luxurious, modern feel while still retaining as many original features as we could – and this included paying close attention to environmental concerns. So, we asked our designers to work with a local ecologist to create the new Hay Lofts, retaining as many original features as possible – and creating a ‘bat hotel’ in the roof for the family of bats who were already in residence. The building was actually held up for two weeks as we waited for a family of nesting swallows to fledge the nest!

Our beautiful new suites have private terraces, cosy first-floor lounges with original exposed beams and sweeping views over the garden and croquet lawn, and bathrooms with gorgeous freestanding baths, walk-in drench showers, and underfloor heating.

Created to reflect our ethos of aiming to both surprise and delight at every turn, the new Hay Loft suites have been designed with clean lines and neutral colours, and feature a host of extra features to make any stay one to remember.

As coffee lovers fire up the Nespresso machine, they can settle down with a complimentary paper and listen to the soothing sounds of the deluxe Ruark Bluetooth audio system – the same as that used in the Savoy Hotel in London.

In the evening, couples can enjoy a glass of home-infused gin on the terrace, or head to SenSpa, the luxury Thai spa at our sister hotel Careys Manor, just six miles away. Guests can dine at our multi award-winning Terrace Restaurant, run by Roux Scholar Matthew Tomkinson, where they can experience a stunning tasting menu designed to showcase the very best seasonal produce.

The Hay Loft Suites reflect their beautiful natural surroundings, and no stay would be complete without exploring the forest, with its miles of ancient moorland, picturesque villages and gorgeous gardens.

Beaulieu itself is home to the magnificent Palace House and the world-renowned National Motor Museum. The famous Exbury Gardens are a short drive away, as is the ancient maritime village of Buckler’s Hard and the New Forest’s stunning ‘secret’ coastline.
