No two of our bedrooms are exactly the same, reflecting the historical character of the building and encompassing subtle nods to their surroundings. Charmingly appointed, our Pine room has been exquisitely designed and is perfectly suited for those seeking a relaxing and peaceful stay with lots of cosy New Forest comforts.
The suite features a private sitting area basked in natural sunlight with a separate bedroom - ideal for longer stays or a celebratory night away. The Nina Campbell headboard overlooked by the Jim Lawrence Brass wall lights adds a splash of colour to complement the texture of the washed wood furniture, creating a focal point in the bedroom area. Osborne and Little Linens were chosen for the cushions and bed covers to add luxurious comfort to the large inviting bed which was hand-crafted in nearby Milbrook.
When stepping into the lounge area, the eye is immediately drawn to the beautiful Harlequin fabric that has been chosen for the ceiling to floor curtains. Warm yellows and golds with accents of blues can be seen all around the room with layering textures and fabrics that add depth using velvets and rich embroideries. A favourite addition to the sofa is the Jim Thompson fabrics that were used to create the sofa cushions to compliment the blue in which they sit on.
With views overlooking the historic Palace House and Beaulieu River, guests staying in Room 31 will be delighted by what’s both inside as well as seen outside of the bedroom.
The stylish furnishings have each been individually chosen for the bedroom from the Colefax and Fowler headboard fabric to the soft faded linens of the Guy Goodfellow Collection.
A perfect space for relaxation and reflection, the Willow room offers a very generous amount of space combined with some of the best views in the house, that’s if you can tear yourself away from the sumptuously comfortable king size bed.
With added pops of vibrant orange velvets to compliment the classic printed linens of the Zoffany curtain fabric of fresh blue and white, the room has been finished with lightly washed wood furniture to give the appearance of minimalism and space.
Swathed in Oriental inspiration, this bedroom offers space and style on a whole new level. The impressive wooden four poster bed makes the Yew a popular choice for residents with the overlooking views of the Palace House. On closer inspection, the eye discovers hints of oriental quirks along with modern charm. Orange accents dotted across the room’s interior including the plush velvet cushions compliments the Jim Thompson blue and white fabric and inviting armchair whilst staying true to the oriental theme. The intricate wallpaper from Zoffany that sits behind the Nickel Bamboo lamps combines to create a fascinating space for guests to experience and enjoy whilst staying in Beaulieu.
