As the weather continues to confuse us with a misleading approach to the beginnings of spring, perhaps we should continue hibernation for just a little while longer. Reserve your table at Monty's Inn this British Pie Week for a delicious dinner that will warm your heart and satisfy your tastebuds!
Pies will include creamy chicken and sweetcorn in a shortcrust pastry, Hampshire steak and kidney suet pie, winter veg homity pie, salmon and scallop puff pastry parcel, and spiced Pondhead Farm pulled pork shortcrust pie. Each pie is served with a choice of potatoes and selection of vegetables.
The culinary delights don't stop there either. Monty's British Pie Week is just one of a series of themed events to take place at our country pub this year.
Other dining events planned include a series of steak nights, and Fish on Fridays, when takeaway fish and chips will be available every Friday evening from 4th May - 7th September.
Monty’s Inn offers delicious heritage cooking and classic English favourites including home-made local pork Scotch eggs, the famous Monty’s burger, and delicious Sunday roasts like Hampshire top-side of beef with duck fat roast potatoes.
