The wine cellar | The Terrace Restaurant
Our wine cellar features over 2,200 bottles of wine from over 300 different category bins featuring mainly biodynamic and organic wines with a good selection of Riesling grapes as well as versatile non-alcoholic, kosher, orange and non-sulphite wine.
Our cellar wine is 70% old world and we have around 18 wines by the glass and 300 different wines by the bottle.
Head Sommelier Sergio Dossantos has been with us for almost two years, having previously worked in Michelin Starred restaurants such as the two starred Hotel Million in Alberville, Savoie and the Hotel Majestic Villa des Lys in Cannes.
Sergio has a level 4 diploma in WSET (The Wine & Spirit Education Trust) a Sommelier Caviste diploma from France and was also a 'UK Sommelier of the Year' semi-finalist in 2006, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

During your New Forest break, guests of the Montagu Arms can join Sergio for a wine tasting session sampling his wine of the month and finding out what makes the perfect pairing.
