The New Forest National Park is full of wildlife, New Forest ponies, cattle, pigs and deer, but you can never guarantee what animal you will spot. For more of a chance, visit the Deer Sanctuary, with a viewing platform overlooking a meadow which is over frequented by fallow deer. The deer are fed daily by a local New Forest keeper between April and September, giving visitors a better chance of seeing the beautiful animals.
