Meals are provided for all staff whilst on duty. Staff accommodation is offered for certain roles. The Montagu Arms is part of Greenclose Limited, discounts are offered to employees in all of the group hotels, restaurants and at our authentic Thai spa, SenSpa, in Brockenhurst.

Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sommelier to help us deliver exceptional customer service for guests dining in our Michelin-starred Terrace Restaurant. Working closely with the Head Sommelier, David Kubler, this role involves advising customers on their wine choices in a traditional service environment, updating the wine list daily, maintaining stock and up selling wines. This is a great opportunity for an experienced waiter or Junior Sommelier to improve their wine knowledge under the expert tuition of David Kubler, who has experience working at The Fat Duck, Bray and Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Oxford.

This is a full time position, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis.

Description:

 We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to work at the Michelin-starred Terrace Restaurant at The Montagu Arms Hotel.

The Junior Sous Chef is responsible for working as efficiently as possible; helping to manage stock and food costs, whilst adhering to the highest standards of food hygiene and health and safety.  The Junior Sous Chef will need to liaise effectively with the Restaurant front of house team.  This is a busy, high volume restaurant and you need to be able to cope under pressure and with high numbers of customers.

The role is full time on a 5 days out of 7 basis and reports into the Terrace Restaurant Head Chef, Matthew Tomkinson.
